Hi! My name’s Elior. Engineering is at my core and it is wrapped in layers of outdoor adventure, nerdiness, and science. I like making things that improve people’s lives ranging from good food to a product that is sold to hundreds. Recently, I’ve been working on becoming a better scientist via my research in neuromorphic computing at NIST, learning how to make marketable products via my work as the sole electrical engineer at Tune Outdoor, and staying active as I transition into my adult body via learning how to paraglide (based out of Boulder, CO).
My primary hobbies are paragliding, Magic: The Gathering (Commander), and videogames (though I’m not happy about that last one).
In the future, I want to build things that have a wide positive impact on people. Ideally this would be in clean tech manufacturing. When looking at the big picture, I have a utilitarian mindset.
I am easily excitable when approaching a new project, and I am incredibly tenacious when I make a decision. Consequently, I am very carful when picking up a new torch since I know that I will suffer immensely if it means that I make it to the finish line.
